Before you commit yourself to any type of volunteer work, reflect on your passions and the types of things you like to do. Being a volunteer will make an impact on your life and the lives of those you encounter, so put some careful thought into your decision to help ensure that you choose the right type of volunteer work. If you like to work with children, maybe you can volunteer at a local elementary school or daycare center.
We have over 12 programs and 4 organizations housed under one roof. Maybe you would like to teach a class on finance or budget management or share your knowledge and experiences in workforce and job search. Perhaps you might like to sing songs to small children or work along side teens as you illustrate the use of tools or reading a blue print. What ever your talents, we'd like for you to consider volunteering with one or more of our programs.
