Out of School Youth Programs

Elijah’s House Out of School Program is both an after-school and out-of-school educational enrichment program for children age 4 through 12 who live in Chicago. Housed in First Presbyterian Church at 6400 S. Kimbark, Elijah’s House Out of School for Youth program offers tutoring, mentoring, homework assistance, social and life skills development, sports and other activities for youth.
Our Center provides youth with a safe, positive and stimulating environment to explore learning and experience academic and personal growth and success.
Elijah’s House Out of School Program offers a diverse curriculum that includes helping your youth to develop stronger academic skills in Reading, Math, and Writing. Our program is staffed with qualified volunteers, college students and staff who are the heart of our program.
Why enroll your youth at Elijah’s House Out of School Program? Our services are unique because, at Elijah’s House we know how important it is too address the needs of the whole child. Our focus is teaching youth to develop better concentration, focus and increase their attention span through a balance of academic enrichment, and social and physical activities. At our Out of School Program your youth will gain more confidence and motivation; they will develop stronger Test-Taking and Study Skills; they will develop leadership and social development skills as well as building peer relationships and they will have FUN.
